Resources and Tools
Methodological guides, utilities, and the documentary corpus of the research.
To better understand how a family tree is structured and to facilitate your own research, we have compiled these classic methodologies, useful tools, and the complete bibliography of the sources used in this project.

2. Genealogical Methodology
Explanation of the international numbering systems used in the organization of this tree.
Sosa-Stradonitz System
The world standard for numbering ancestors. Number 1 is assigned to the base person. The father's number is always double, and the mother's is double plus one. It allows knowing the exact relationship just by looking at the number.
Descendant System
Ideal for listing all the descendants of a founding ancestor. A number is assigned to each generation and a digit is added for each child according to their birth order (e.g., 1.2.1).
Soundex System
Fundamental phonetic algorithm for finding poorly recorded immigrant records. It converts surnames that sound the same (e.g., Pozzo, Pozo, Poso) into the same master code to make them easier to find in the archives.
3. Researcher's Tools
Historical Age Calculator
Calculate the exact age of an ancestor on a specific date (e.g., age at marriage).
